Susanna's Birthday Party 2007
What do you do with a wet and windy Sunday afternoon and a raging sore throat? Do websites?
13th May, Sunday night: and a note about the images. They were taken by Phil's digital SLD camera, very impressive, but all images below have been reduced from 4.5MB to around 100kB and still probably too big for those without broadband width connections, ie we still have over 1MB to download.
Dispite the late and somewhat informal notice, most turned up and a good time was had by all.
It was not all about the cake, but very nearly. A magnificient effort by Peter.

and Susanna looking somewhat pleased with herself!
Note the Danish flags on the home made birthday card dog clipped to the light on the left, good on ya Steen!
Other cards were from Susanna's parents in Vienna.

And a close up of the cake. It took us a week to eat it all!

Now, how to cut it! Richard, Jacinta and Norbertt look on in anticipation . . .
Earlier in the night . . . discussions, if not heated, appeared very ernest . . . and after most of the food has been eaten.
Maureen and David, with Peter looking at the kitchen.

Peter now looking at the bookshelf, David still talking with Maureen but with Phil looking on, Martina doing the dishes with Richard making sure she is doing it correctly and Toc seeing if there is any food left.

Andrew and Toc after a lot of eating, " . . .there is more?"

Ildeco, also indulging in the hand in hand pose but slouching on the couch - is that chocolate she's got?

Phil, Martina and Jacinta on the couch, eating cake.
